The installation method of solar street lights
The installation method of solar street lights can be divided into the following steps:
1. Site selection and preparation
① Choose installation location: Choose a suitable installation location based on the direction of the road and the location of the lighting source. Pay attention to the latitude of the lighting installation location and adjust the angle of the solar panel to meet the maximum illumination area of the road surface. At the same time, it is necessary to ensure that the installation site has sufficient lighting and that there is no shading on the facing surface of the solar panel throughout the day.
② Environmental assessment: Ensure that the installation environment meets the requirements, such as avoiding proximity to heat sources to prevent affecting the lifespan of the lighting fixtures. Meanwhile, considering the temperature range of the environment, ensure that solar street lights can still function properly in cold environments.
③ Prepare tools and materials: Prepare the necessary tools for installation, such as screwdrivers, wrenches, etc., and check if all accessories are complete.
2. Foundation construction
① Geological survey: If the soil is hard, approximately 1 cubic meter of pit needs to be excavated for the installation of lighting fixtures (the specific size can be adjusted according to the height of the lamp post). If it is soft soil or has special requirements, the excavation depth needs to be determined separately.
② Pouring concrete: Pour concrete into the excavated foundation pit to ensure the stability of the foundation. Wait for the concrete to fully solidify before proceeding to the next installation step.
3. Installing solar street light components
① Install solar panels: Fix the solar panels on the street lamp support bracket and connect the output lines of the panels. Pay attention to the positive and negative connections of the battery board, and tie the output lines tightly with cable ties. Finally, place the battery panel in a safe area and wait for subsequent assembly.
② Install LED lighting fixtures: Take out a section of light wire from the lamp arm, connect one end to the lamp socket and install the LED lamp head, and connect the other end to the pre embedded wire hole position on the lamp post. After ensuring that the lamp arm is not tilted, tighten the screws at both the lamp arm and the lamp post. Label and secure the light wires in the pre embedded wire hole position of the lamp post.
③ Install other components: If necessary, batteries and controllers can also be installed. Batteries are used to store the electricity generated by solar energy for nighttime use, while controllers are used to monitor the battery's level and control the brightness and timing of street lights.
4. Crane hoisting of light poles
① Lifting the lamp post: Fix the lifting rope at the point of application of the lamp post, slowly lift the entire solar street light, and be careful to prevent the crane from damaging the solar panel.
② Adjustment position: When the entire set of solar street lights is vertically lifted above the foundation pit, rotate the lamp post to align with the screws on the ground.
③ Fixed lamp post: After ensuring that the flange is accurately placed above the foundation pit screws, place flat washers, spring washers, and nuts in sequence, and tighten the screws to ensure that the entire solar street light is fixed without shaking.
5. Testing and Adjusting
① Test the function of the street light: After installation, conduct a test to ensure the normal operation of the solar street light. The sensing function and brightness adjustment function of street lights can be tested by manually blocking sunlight.
② Adjusting the angle of the solar panel: Adjust the angle of the solar panel according to the actual situation to obtain the maximum illumination area and power generation efficiency.
The installation of solar street lights can be completed through the above steps. Please note that during the installation process, it is essential to follow safe operating procedures and ensure that all connections are secure and reliable to prevent accidents from occurring.
