Solar street lamp configuration

The configuration of solar street lights mainly involves the following aspects:

1.solar panels

Solar panels are the energy source of solar street lights, and their configuration needs to consider the sunshine and use requirements of the location of the street lights.

High-efficiency monocrystalline or polycrystalline silicon panels are a common choice because they have a high photoelectric conversion efficiency.

2. Battery

The battery is used to store the electricity generated by the solar panels for the night lighting of the street lights.

Common battery types include maintenance-free lead-acid batteries and buried colloidal sealed batteries.

The capacity of the battery needs to be calculated according to the continuous lighting time of the street lamp and the standby days of rainy days. For example, in order to meet the lighting needs of four consecutive rainy days, the capacity of the battery may need to reach 175AH or more.

3.LED lamps

LED lamps are the lighting components of solar street lamps, and their configuration needs to consider factors such as brightness, color temperature, luminous Angle and life.

The power and quantity of LED lamps need to be determined according to lighting requirements and design requirements. For example, DC12V/24V, 15W-80W LED lights are common choices.

4. Controller

The controller is a key component of solar street lamps, which is used to control the charging and discharging process of solar panels and batteries and the lighting time of street lamps.

The controller should have stability, protection function (such as overcharge protection, overdischarge protection, etc.) and reasonable control mode (such as light control + time control).

In summary, the configuration of solar street lights needs to comprehensively consider the performance and parameters of solar panels, batteries, LED lamps and controllers to ensure the stable operation and lighting effect of street lights under various environmental conditions.
